Chapters.

Run Batteries4Better at your own school or community. We supply the bins, the playbook, and the recycling pipeline.

Starting a chapter

Bring B4B to your school.

Chapters are how B4B grows. Midlothian High School already hosts one.

1. Apply

Fill out the chapter form below with your school or community and a contact.

2. Get your kit

We send labeled bins, signage, and a step-by-step playbook for running drives.

3. Run it

You collect. We pick up, weigh, and route everything to certified recyclers.

The commitment

What a chapter signs up for.

Small enough to run alongside school, big enough to matter.

  • 1–2 official battery drives per year, hosted at a school, library, or similar community location
  • 4–5 collection bins, split among your chapter's volunteers and placed in their neighborhoods

Do you need a faculty sponsor?

Some schools require a faculty sponsor for student clubs and some don't. Check your school's rules first. If a sponsor is required to get your club approved, you'll need one.

Where do the batteries go?

You don't handle disposal. We connect every chapter to a local collection point or recycling partner in your area, so your job is collecting, not figuring out where it all ends up.

Not a student, or no school to host it?

Chapters are one route in. Hosting a single bin at a business or community centre works too.
