Charter Colony Fall Festival

  • Friday, October 16, 2026
  • Charter Colony, Midlothian, VA

Batteries4Better set up a "Batteries 4 Better" booth at the Charter Colony Fall Festival, where families stopped by between the food trucks to drop off used batteries and spin our prize wheel for candy. Our team talked with neighbors about why batteries need to be recycled separately from regular trash, filled a collection box with donated batteries, and introduced a lot of trick-or-treaters to battery recycling for the first time.

Charter Colony community pool party

  • Charter Colony community pool, Midlothian, VA

Batteries4Better hosted a booth at a Charter Colony community pool party, where we connected with local families and raised awareness about proper battery recycling. Our team shared information about the environmental impact of improper battery disposal, answered questions, and encouraged residents to recycle their used household batteries through Batteries4Better.
